The film follows the life of playwright Terrence McNally, his groundbreaking plays and musicals, philanthropy, addiction, recovery, and fight for love. Starring F. Murray Abraham, Lynn Ahrens, and Jon Robin Baitz.

This is a brilliant documentary on the life of Terrence McNally whose plays and musicals transformed the Broadway stage. The film covers his whole life featuring interviews with family, friends, colleagues, and significant others. We see his life unfold in historical footage with the interviews of McNally and others. We also see as McNally, who’s gay,  fight for his life as well as his work.  This is a wonderful documentary about a writer making a name for himself on the Great White Way. This is worth a watch.
