Christmas Land (2015) Rated TV-G

A woman plans to sell the Christmas tree farm that she inherits until she meets the townspeople and her lawyer. Starring Nikki Deloach, Luke Macfarlane, and Maureen McCormick.

This is another formulaic film made by Hallmark. For the most part, I love Hallmark Christmas films. They take you away from reality and bring you into a fantasy world that’s just so perfect you wonder how these people actually live. This film is one of those prime suspects. We have a woman who is smart and savvy but doesn’t follow the proper protocol when selling real estate. The filmmakers, overall, seem to lack knowledge of real estate. Also, the film doesn’t seem to have much of a romance going on. Even though you know they’ll end up together in the end, there isn’t any chemistry or romance. There’s just a lot of lying and conniving, with little Christmas spirit. This movie is not worth a watch.
