Two people become stranded at an airport during the holiday season and decide to rent a car together to get out of town. Along the way, they experience adventures while falling in love. Based on Debbie Macomber’s book of the same name. Starring Meghan Ory, Andrew W. Walker, and Aaron Craven.
I have yet to see Meghan Ory in a role that intrigues me. Walker, on the other hand, always provides an enjoyable performance. However, the two don’t match well. Then you have the story, which just seems so outlandish. I get it – you’re stranded due to winter weather, but what’s with all the weird adventures? They don’t make much sense. I could see this couple falling in love if the story followed the two of them trying to get home without the misadventures. Maybe the book explains the story better than the retelling on the screen. The chemistry between the actors is missing, and the story makes this film not worth a watch.
