A town’s sheriff and patron of the local whorehouse fights to keep it running when a television reporter targets it in an attempt to close it down. Starring Burt Reynolds, Dolly Parton, and Dom DeLuise.
This film is not one I would normally recommend, and I’m not sure if I’m going to recommend it. This one is normally on all the romance film “must watch” lists, but it isn’t really a films I would watch for the romance. The sheriff and the woman who owns the whorehouse are in some kind of relationship. It’s basically beneficial to both, I guess, but I really didn’t see it being a healthy relationship. What it does have going for it is the humor. The film is rather humorous at times. That is the only thing really going for it. It’s a cute, fun watch, but it isn’t really worth a watch.
