The Dog Who Saved Halloween (2011) Rated PG

Zeus and his family move into a new house right before Halloween. Starring Gary Valentine, Dean Cain, Elisa Donovan, Joey Lawrence, and Mayim Bialik.

I know, I’m a broken record when I say, “I’m not fond of films that have talking animals.” This is no exception. I’m still surprised that the same bad guys seem to follow this family everywhere. Not that I’m opposed to the bad guys, I actually enjoyed watching Dean Cain, and it was nice to hear Joey Lawrence as the dog. This is like all the other films in The Dog Who Saved… series. There is nothing new; we have the bumbling crooks, the family that is oblivious to what is actually happening around them, and the dog that saves the day … every day. What I still love about this series is that it’s extremely kid friendly, but as for me, it was not worth a watch.
