School of Rock (Nickelodeon) Rated TV-Y7

The adventures of Dewey Finn, a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school, where he instructs the students in the art of rock ‘n’ roll. Starring Breanna Yde, Ricardo Hurtado, and Jade Pettyjohn.

This is a TV show based on the movie of the same name. I have yet to see the movie, but this show makes me wonder about the popularity of the film. It’s poorly written, and the acting is not the best. It also doesn’t include many rock songs, they are mostly pop songs of today. I think that’s mostly due to the songs’ copyrights. Some songs are extremely expensive to play. The show, I believe, should be geared to preteens, but it seems to be for preadolescents. That said, the show just doesn’t gel to the demographics. This show is not worth a watch.
