This film brings to life the events and lives that inspired Peter Pan. Barrie is wonderfully portrayed by Depp. This is another role that seems to be made for Depp; we watch the mind-bending writer’s mind as he looks for inspiration around him for the classic tale. The film is a wonderful and fantastical story about Barrie writing his classic story. The film revolves around the warmth of joy that comes from dreams and fairy tales. The film isn’t a biography of Barrie’s life, it just looks at him as he tries to write his next play. I don’t know how much of the story is true regarding Barrie’s life, but it does give us a taste of the magical land of Neverland. This film is worth a watch.
