The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015) Rated PG-13

Katniss and a team of rebels prepare for the final battle that’ll decide of the fate of Panem. Based on the book, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth.

First, I will state that I have not read the series of The Hunger Games. This film doesn’t have the action that seems to be promised as the closing to the storyI think it could be due to the last book being separated into more than one film. We see the team march toward the capital, and the film focuses mostly on Katniss rather than the team or even the love triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale.  The story, overall, seems quite anticlimactic, but yet it does close the book. The actors, by now, know their characters, and that is evident. Overall, the film has a mix of action and drama. However, it struggles with being a complete film, making it not worth a watch.
