Kevin Can Wait (CBS) Rated TV-PG

A retired police officer tries to take care of kids as a single parent. Starring Kevin James, Taylor Spreitler, and Ryan Cartwright.

This is a typical comedy show between a husband and wife. It has its moments of laughter, but, basically, what we have is a boy in a man’s body and the wife constantly cleaning up his mistakes. The show, overall, is predictable and there’s not much to comment on. It’s also a show that carries a lot of baggage; the showrunners try to save it by killing off the wife and bring on another actress to play a different role. I don’t know what was happening behind the scenes, but this is one show where the off-screen controversy was much more interesting than the show itself. It’s not worth a watch.
