A Deadly Lullaby (2020) Rated TV-14

After losing her daughter, a mother meets another woman with a daughter that she is obsessed with. Starring Katie Leclerc, Jeff Schine, and Victoria Barabas.

This is a typical Lifetime mystery/thriller film. It lacks good writing and great acting. You basically know what to expect, and you can even figure out the story before the characters do. It struggles with continuity and lack of direction with the characters.  Although, this one comes with a pleasant twist. It’s the twist that makes it stand out from other Lifetime films. Leclerc, I will add, is much more of a delight to watch than other actors I’ve seen in TV movies. Of course, she produced it, so her heart is more into the project. However, it’s not a film worth watching.
