This series is brilliantly written; a couple of teenage boys, discovering who they are, happen to witness a triple homicide. While they are learning about themselves, one boy’s foster mother is the sheriff trying to find the murderer. Adding to the ambiance of the series are the muted color palette and the soundtrack. The show pulls you into the small-town life where secrets are hard to keep. The show does spiral out of control as the subplots take over the story. The police make mistakes, which happens at times. The show can be drawn out. While the show has its issues, it does pull you into these people’s lives, making it worth the watch.
