Queen Elizabeth’s Secret Agents (2018) Rated NR

A father and son duo become the first secret service in the world during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Starring Colin Tierney.

This miniseries has talking heads walk us through the beginning of the first secret service that started in the reign of Queen Elizabeth. They bring us back to the divisive and unstable lifetime that brought Queen Elizabeth to the crown. While they remind us of the war going on over the crown, there are recreated scenes that give us a visual of what the monarchy had to endure. They discuss the different methods used to combat assassination attempts, treason, and terror in order to protect the Queen. It’s amazing what this duo did to protect the Queen and the foundation they put in place for the present-day secret service people. It’s a series worth the watch.
