The Killing Season (A&E) Rated TV-14

Documentarians Joshua Zeman and Rachel Mills investigate one of the most notorious serial killer cases left unsolved. Starring Joshua Zeman, Rachel Mills, and Peter Brendt.

This series pulls you in with the investigation of the Long Island serial killer. While they are not as good as actual investigators, Zeman and Mills ask questions they already know the answers to rather than what they actually need to know. They also produce facts that have been disproven just to make points – or better yet, to extend the story. I actually feel sorry for the families that are involved in this as the pair gives hope where there is none. However, toward the end I actually thought they were on to something – but I wonder why the police didn’t go down that road before, making me question whether it’s from a good source or not. This series is not worth the watch.
