A hip-hop and drill star tries to build a better life for her son in Chicago. Starring Sh’Kia, Nijah Brenea, and Fred Thomas Jr.
This show is brilliantly written. I was pleasantly surprised by the writing. The characters are interesting. The only problem I had was that the main character isn’t as wonderful as she could be. She struggles with bad decisions. Bad decisions from such a smart girl don’t make much sense. That is where it falls short. The casting is brilliant, and the realistic lifestyle of Chicago’s hip-hop scene is gritty and real. This isn’t something I would watch, and it’s not something that pulls me in. Even though the show is wonderful, it’s not worth the watch.
