The fifth installment of Disney’s singalong series, where they sing along to the classic children’s educational program. Starring Julianne Hough, Kal Penn, and Jason Biggs.

This is bad. This singalong does not do justice to the classic children’s program. It starts with a song that is reimaged with Julianne Hough. Now, Julianne has a wonderful singing voice. I’m not surprised they used her, but her outfit and the set they use for her song create a hideous, ghastly scene. It does nothing to bring the fun of the original to life. They try too hard to make it modern and lose the spark of what made Schoolhouse Rock nostalgic. The actors are too woke for you to just enjoy the innocence of the classic program. This is so not worth the watch. I would just rather rewatch the original.
