I never got into the series The Blacklist, but this installment doesn’t seem to rely on the storyline from the previous. The series has the typical action storyline paired with the characters’ backstories. Thus, it is hard to follow all the different stories. It mostly lacks in the writing, and the show struggles to pull you into the characters lives. There’s nothing to bring the show up a level from other action shows. Thus, the show is not worth the watch.
