After everyone praised this film as one of the best, I had to add it to my watch list. It helps that Tobey Maguire is one of my favorite actors to watch. For the most part, the story isn’t bad and the actors aren’t bad. The main problem with the movie is that it meanders between scenes. The characters, overall, are not likeable. There’s nothing redeeming about them. I barely felt bad for them. They want things to make them happy, and they don’t get it. This film is not worth the watch.
