Wet Hot American Summer (2001) Rated R

In 1981 the last day of summer camp when a group of counselors must finish their last unfinished business before their done. Starring Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Michael Showalter

As everyone knows, I’m not a fan of adult humor  or potty humor that this time of film is known for. For that it was a struggle to get through, even so, the premise is a fun story as each character is trying to wrap up their relationships with each other before heading home. It is a wonderful coming of age comedy. The film does struggle on what theme it wants to be nostalgic or a parody. There is really no point to the story as the kids are just wrapping up their  day. The  film is notable for the amount of famous actors in the movie before they were famous and how it’s become a classic. In my book it’s not a classic. It’s a film that is not worth the watch.
