Affectionately Yours, Screwtape: The Devil and C.S. Lewis (2007) Rated PG

A volume of letters between two devils that gives insight to the spiritual struggle around us. Starring Scott Calhoun, Carissa Dallis, and Bruce L. Edwards.

This is an interesting film. I do think that The Screwtape Letters should be made into a film. I just don’t think this presentation is as well-rounded as the book by C.S. Lewis. This film runs as a documentary about the book, The Screwtape Letters and C.S. Lewis’ life as a writer. I just feel that the film doesn’t give enough highlight to the book itself. If you are looking for a wonderful documentary on C.S. Lewis’ writings and how the book came to life, this film is for you – otherwise it is not worth the watch.
