A group of astronauts are training for a mission to Mars while NASA is looking at how psychology can help those in isolation. Starring Kayla Barron, Cady Coleman, and Al Holland.
This film talks about how isolated the astronauts are for months or years at a time. For years, psychologists have been helping NASA understand the affects of isolation not just to the astronauts but also the family left behind during those long months. There are so many outside factors that play into just being on the space station, and now they are looking at the potential affects associated with a three-year mission to Mars. They also look at the different aspects for human hibernation. This film is great to watch for understanding what our astronauts do for science. This is worth the watch.
