I really enjoyed this series and hoped that it wouldn’t be canceled. Alas, it was. It’s well written, partly because of Orson Scott Card. Granted, the show isn’t perfect; it has a very low production value. The acting isn’t bad, but it’s not Oscar worthy either. I felt that it had a great spiritual premise for the series: that there is something greater out there that wants to get to know us. Also note that this series is produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since the show didn’t have a conclusion, I can’t say how Biblically sound it is. It was, however, a wonderful, interesting, unusual Sci-fi show that was worth the watch.
