It’s hard to tell what is true and what is false in this telling of the lives of the elite Granite Mountain Hotshots. While we aren’t sure of the truth, it was a wonderful story about Eric Marsh and Brendan “Donut” McDonough relationship.  Their relationship and those of the Hotshots shine bright in this film. The film weaves the firefighters’ personal lives with their day job of fighting fires. While at times it seems rather placid to go from their family life to the action of firefighting, its’ more natural to them and a struggle too. Thus, is showcased in the film. Thus, it is worth the watch.
