Mark Renton returns to Scotland after twenty years abroad and reunites with his friends. Starring Ewan McGregor, Logan Gillies, and Ben Skelton. 

This is a great sequel to the original film that brought us the view of junkies and their lives. Danny Boyle continues the story of the boyhood junkies using the same techniques as the first film. We have flashbacks of their childhood and scenes from the original film. Unlike other sequels, this story is a likelihood of where and how the characters would be twenty years later. It starts with Mark having a midlife crisis and returning to make good on stealing the money he took twenty years before. It takes off from there, and it’s a film that holds true to the story, making it worth the watch.
