The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) Rated NR

Baron Victor Frankenstein is accused of murder and while he is waiting for his execution, he tells the story of the creature he built and brought to life. Based on the book by Mary Shelley. Starring Peter Cushing, Hazel Court, and Robert Urquhart.

This film brings the original Frankenstein story to life with the brilliant actors Cushing and Christopher Lee. It’s a classic telling of Frankenstein, but the monster looks different from previous films. This is because Universal’s Frankenstein franchise is responsible for the famous look, and this film was created under Hammer Productions, which re-envisioned the Frankenstein story. This film doesn’t follow Mary Shelley’s story, but it does create a mad man in Victor Frankenstein, who stops at nothing to create his creature. This film is worth the watch.
