Miranda Chester has returned to Carlton Heath to have a wonderful Christmas with the love she found last season. Starring Erin Krakow, Niall Matter, and Wendie Malick.

This is one of the stronger Hallmark films, even as a sequel, because it manages to build on the original story without feeling unnecessary. It’s not perfect—the writing can be uneven at times, and the setting doesn’t always feel fully matched to the season—but the central story remains engaging. Watching the couple grow in love with each other and prepare for the next step in their relationship gives the film a warm, enjoyable quality. Krakow and Matter’s easy chemistry makes the romance feel believable and helps carry the film through its weaker moments. Overall, despite a few flaws, it remains a charming and worthwhile Hallmark movie.
