Not many films surprise me but this film did. I was thrilled by Brooke White performance, surprisingly. Her lack of refined acting skills is clear but good. I admired the story the adoption storyline but struggled with the lack of attention given to the children learning to adjust. I also anticipated the confrontation between Jordan, the oldest child and Sally, the mom, which never happened but should have. Overall, it’s a wonderful positive film.
