I watched this film a few months ago and it left me reeling for days afterward.  It’s based on the true story of Soraya, who in 1986 was falsely accused by her husband of adultery.  Her husband wanted a divorce so he could marry a girl.  It puts in the prospective of what still is happening in the middle east against women.  This film truly opened my eyes.

I must tell you  that if the violence in The Passion of the Christ was too much for you. This film is not for you.
