Chasing Holden is a story about the teenage Neil Lawrence, who has a writing assignment about the life of Holden Caulfield after Catcher and the Rye. To get the story Neil travels with a friend to find J.D. Salinger and along the way they get themselves into trouble. This film reminds me a lot of the film Ordinary People. The complexity of the character of Neil Lawrence surprised me. This story surprised me even though there were inconsistencies. Overall, it wasn’t the worst nor was it the best.
