Robin Hood (2010)

Rated PG-13

When you watch a movie you want a story told to you and hopefully it is a good story. Robin Hood as a story is a good story but this film is not a good story. It lacks a certain pizzazz that film stories should tell. Sure, it was entertaining but I felt a lack of connection to the story and to the characters. A lot of times I felt I was missing something as if things weren’t being told. Maybe the filmmakers assumed that we as an audience would know what was happening or that we would know the history. I have read other reviews that claim Ridley Scott did not pay any attention to the history. If you’re a Robin Hood fan this film is worth a watch but beware of the lack of story.

A head’s up that the dvd is rated UR.
