I’ve seen some classics and I’ve always enjoyed Frank Capra’s films but this film left something to be desired. I don’t know, it just didn’t hit me quite right. Bette Davis did a fantastic job to go from vagrant to high-class to vagrant again. Her acting is the best but I just didn’t get the oof. There isn’t a flaw in the film but there wasn’t anything that made the film stand out. Overall, I don’t regret watching it and I do recommend it for a Friday or Saturday night movie night.
