Tim Burton’s  take on Carroll’s  children’s story is fantastical but lacked in story. It took me awhile to figure out where he was going with the story, since it wasn’t exactly the  story from Carroll. I loved the visionary effects, makeup, and costumes. It is  more Disney than Burton’s telling, although, I still think a PG rating might still be scary for some kiddies.
