Gremlins (1984)

Rated PG

On a business trip a father brings home an adorable creäture from Chinatown for his son. The son, who, doesn’t listen to the shopkeeper’s advice on caring for the creäture. Starring Hoyt Axton, John Louie, Keye Luke, Corey Feldman, Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Howie Mandel

This is a great scary movie for kids. It’s fun and entertaining. Although, the story is simple, the acting is low-grade, it’s still a horror comical genius. It does have some scenes that might be scary for very young viewers but I would say preteens would love it. It is definitely a classic and worth a watch for Halloween or Christmas.
