The Change-Up (2011)

Rated R

In this contemporary body switch comedy, two best friends, each jealous with each others lives, swap lives after a night of partying. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Leslie Mann, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin

Think Freaky Friday but raunchy. There are drugs, sex, and what ever else they could throw at you to make this comedy different from any other body switch comedies. David Dobkin also had a very hard time with making the switch be smooth. I could tell the two characters apart. The actors both seem to be blundering along without any real direction. It’s just a mess of a story. If I want to watch a body switch film, I watch Freaky Friday (1976) or Like Father, Like Son with Dudley Moore.
