The Man Who Came To Dinner (1942)

Rated NR

An arrogant lecturer falls on the way to dinner. He’s assigned to bed rest at his host’s home and decides to help the family by fixing their issues. Starring Bette Davis, Ann Sheridan, Monty Woolley

Although, this is a comedy, I found it very boring and long. The performers do an amazing job with the characters but with the slow pace it was hard to keep attention. My mind wanted to wander. The film wasn’t funny, I don’t think I laughed once throughout the movie. I understand that the jokes were more on tune to making fun of the celebrities of the 30s and 40s than what will transform to today’s humor. I know most people claim this as a classic but I just didn’t feel it.
