The only reason I watched this, and I will admit the only reason I watched this was for some insight to the Katy Perry/ Russell Brand divorce. I know, my gossipy curiosity won out. What I got was Katy’s version but nothing of truth. I like Katy and I believe that she knows the Truth but I think she is overwhelmed by her indulgences. I know I’m personalizing this and have no right to judge. So, I’ll talk about the film in general.

Part of Me is a typical backstage pass to a concert. We get to see the inside out to making a concert. We also see the stress that this puts on the everyone. It’s the typical promote me concert film. Katy is infectious, cute and perky. She is a joy to watch. If you’re a Katy fan you’ll love this film.
