An art auctioneer goes to a hypnotherapy to find a stolen painting. Starring James McAvoy, Vincent Cassel, Rosario Dawson
This film will keep you on your toes. I kept thinking I knew how this would end but every couple of minutes it would change. It revolves around hypnosis, mostly stretched from what hypnotism can do but makes me never to want to get evolved with hypnosis. Danny Boyle, the director, used the color saturation blue and yellow, which makes the film have a bluish tint throughout the film. This does irritate some people. I never really noticed it. Overall, for a psychological thriller it’s ok. It’s definitely not Boyle’s best film.
Also, I’ll point out this is a British film, so there is nudity.
