August: Osage County (2013) Rated R

August Osage countyA dysfunctional family comes together when the patriarch disappears. Based on the play by Terry Letts. Starring Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Chris Cooper, Ewan McGregor, Margo Martindale, Sam Shepard, Dermot Mulroney, Julianne Nicholson, Juliette Lewis, Abigail Breslin, Benedict Cumberbatch

August: Osage County is brilliantly casted. Every single one of them had a role that was complex and wit. This film was an actor’s dream and the ensemble cast was perfect. This family is a family I wouldn’t want to be apart of and we get to witness the last straw and downfall of this family. Which was wonderfully told and it’s a great film to see these performers have a war with Terry Letts’ words. I enjoyed this film it’s worth a watch.
