A Holiday Romance (1999) Rated NR

Song for the seasonA school administer comes to small town Bethlehem, Kentucky to help downsize the school. Along the way he falls for the local music teacher. Starring Naomi Judd, Andy Griffith, Gerald McRaney, Alison Pill

This film carries a lot of heavy hitters, Naomi Judd, Andy Griffith, Gerald McRaney, and Jayne Eastwood. They make the movie, as well as the story. It’s a great movie about a girl, who lost her parents. Her uncle takes her in but he can’t seem to get to her. They move to Bethlehem partly for his job, school administer, but also partly to be close to his father, her grandfather. The story brings up how important the arts are in schools but how they are the first ones usually cut. This film is  definitely up at the top for films to watch during the holiday season.
