How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) Rated PG

how to train your dragon 2

Continuing story of Hiccup and Toothless as they try to go ahead with keeping peace in Berk. Starring Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Djimon Hounsou, Kit Harington

Another great animation, even the story holds up. Although, I thought they pushed the story along than let it unfold. Here I found this new land. Here suddenly is my mother. Here is my father meeting my mother, again. Here we are under attack. We must have peace. The story has bullet points and not just life unfolding in Berk. It’s all about peace. How can we have peace but yet they struggle with it. The first film tells the tale of Hiccup, trying to understand his differences. This film tells the tale of Hiccup coming to terms with his destiny. As you can see the story has so many plots and subplots. All of which is a good story but does it need to be forced.  I don’t know. I don’t think so. I give this film a pass. It’s seeable.
