Der Skipper (1990) Rated R

kill cruiseA washed out, drunken sailor gets tricked into taking two British women to the West Indies. Starring Jürgen Prochnow, Patsy Kensit, Elizabeth Hurley

This psychological thriller kept me on my toes.  Of course, you know that someone will die going into the movie, but the film offers enough twists and turns to keep you guessing who the victim and murderer will be, up to the end.  The plot twists left me anxious with anticipation of what would happen next.  During their four weeks at sea, the pressure  continues to build among the characters, with sexual tension and personality clashes leading to jealous rages all in the first week.   Who will break under the strain?  Who will die?  Who will survive? This film is worth a watch to find out.
