As the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has only a single remaining vacancy – posing a rooming predicament for two fresh arrivals – Sonny pursues his expansionist dream of opening a second hotel.  Starring Dev Patel, Maggie Smith, David Strathairn, Judi Dench, and Bill Nighy.

Ex Machina (R)

A young programmer is selected to participate in a ground-breaking experiment in artificial intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a breath-taking female A.I. Starring Domhnall Gleeson, Corey Johnson and Oscar Isaac.

 It Follows (R)

A young woman is followed by an unknown supernatural force after getting involved in a sexual encounter. Starring Keir Gilchrist, Maika Monroe, Lili Sepe, and Olivia Luccardi.

 Clouds of Sils Maria (R)

A veteran actress comes face-to-face with an uncomfortable reflection of herself when she agrees to take part in a revival of the play that launched her career 20 years earlier. Starring Juliette Binoche, Kristen Stewart, and Chloë Grace Moretz.

The Salt of the Earth (PG-13)

For the last 40 years, the photographer Sebastião Salgado has been traveling through the continents, in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed some of the major events of our recent history: international conflicts, starvation and exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of wild fauna and flora, and of grandiose landscapes as part of a huge photographic project which is a tribute to the planet’s beauty.

Black Beauty (PG)

“Black Beauty” centers on a 15 year-old girl who volunteers at a city pound and convinces her grandfather in the country to adopt a horse that was rescued from an abusive owner. They spend the summer rehabilitating “Black Beauty.” Starring Luke Perry, Bruce Davison, and Sarah Ann Schultz.

 Cedar Cove: Season Two (NR)

Follows the professional and personal life of Municipal Court Judge Olivia Lockhart and the surrounding townsfolk. Starring Andie MacDowell, Dylan Neal, Sarah Smyth, and Teryl Rothery.

 Freedom (R)

Two men separated by 100 years are united in their search for freedom. In 1856, Samuel Woodward, a slave, and his family escape from the Monroe Plantation near Richmond, Virginia. A secret network of ordinary people known as the Underground Railroad guide the family on their journey north to Canada. They are relentlessly pursued by the notorious slave hunter Plimpton. Hunted like a dog and haunted by the unthinkable suffering he and his forbears have endured, Samuel is forced to decide between revenge or freedom. One hundred years earlier, in 1748, John Newton the Captain of a slave trader ship sails from Africa with a cargo of slaves, bound for America. On board is Samuel’s great grandfather whose survival is tied to the fate of Captain Newton. The voyage changes Newton’s life forever and he creates a legacy that will inspire Samuel and the lives of millions for generations to come.
