The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) Rated PG

Chronicles of Narnia voyage of the dawn traderLucy and Edmund Pevensie, with their cousin Eustace, return to Narnia and embark on an epic journey with Prince Caspian upon The Dawn Treader.  Their quest is to rescue seven lords and save Narnia from the evil on Dark Island. Based on the fifth book of The Chronicles of Narnia by  C. S. Lewis. Starring Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes, Will Poulter

The second and third films in this The Chronicles of Narnia series are well done, but they just don’t seem to hold the magic that The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe had. Voyage has some pacing issues, but the content is true to Lewis’ moral narratives.  In this film, the moral is that you are not hear by accident or chance; your life has purpose and meaning.   Although it is not as prominent in the film as in the book, the movie is still well-done and worth a watch.
