A Christmas Detour (2015) Rated TV-G

christmas detourAn anxious bride-to-be, a heartbroken guy, and a struggling married couple get stuck together en route to visiting their families for Christmas. Starring Candace Cameron Bure, Paul Greene, Sarah Strange, David Lewis.

Hallmark is on a winning streak this year.  Here is yet another wholesome, well-made Christmas film with the trademark Hallmark predictability and sweetness.  However, there is a bit more to this movie.  As the relationships unfold, the messages of what makes someone “the one” and how to have a solid marriage shine through.  Even if someone looks good on paper, it doesn’t necessarily mean their the right one for you.  The only complaint I have is the the unrealistic weather graphics.  Other than that, this film is worth a watch.
