A time machine malfunctions at a ski resort and sends a group of friends back to 1986. Starring John Cusack, Clark Duke, Craig Robinson, Lizzy Caplan, Chevy Chase.

This film is far-fetched, with plot holes and poor writing.  I watched it to see Cusack, but afterwards I could only wonder why he signed on in the first place.

As a lover of 80’s films, I was disappointed to see how they misrepresented them to the point of making them seem unpalatable.  There were a few entertaining parts, but mostly I was asking myself why I was still watching it.  It’s no surprise to me that Cusack isn’t in the sequel.  I won’t be wasting my time on it, either.  This film is a pass.
