Captain America: Civil War (2016) Rated PG-13

captain-america-civil-war Political inferences cause a rift among the Avengers. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Daniel Brühl.

This is a typical summer blockbuster, action film, complete with explosions. It begins with a political struggle among the Avengers. In this way, the film does create a cohesive story line for the Avengers, making it feel less like a Captain America film, despite the conflicts Captain America struggles with throughout the movie.  Overall, it does what it set out to do: create a fun, explosive-driven, action film.  It’s not a personal favorite, but it is still worth a watch.
