A young man’s Promposal to his celebrity crush scores him a date with her in his small town. Starring Larissa Albuquerque, Andrea Brooks, Caroline Cave, Bailee Madison, Andrew W. Walker, Shenae Grimes-Beech, Quinn Lord.
This is actually one of the better Hallmark films. A young woman becomes famous, but is unable to trust those around her. When she arrives in the small town from which the invitation was sent, we get to see her struggle between her celebrity self and her true self. I thought they did a fantastic job of depicting her as utterly self-absorbed, yet revealing her true, small town girl essence. I especially enjoyed Madison, who has really blossomed into a wonderful actress; I actually enjoyed her story line more than the adult one. This Hallmark film is worth a watch.
