A Late Quartet (2012) Rated R

a-late-quartetA story of a famous string quartet who struggles to stay together through death, egos, and lust. Starring Catherine Keener, Christopher Walken, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Imogen Poots.

This is a film that takes on the human dynamics of living and working together for 25 years with all the ups and downs and problems they face. Set amidst the backdrop of the classical music they perform, this quartet must decide whether they can continue to work together. An engaging film with brilliant acting, I wondered if all the actors learned their instruments for the role.  It is worth a watch.
