October Baby (2011) Rated PG-13

A young woman discovers she is the adopted survivor of an abortion. Starring Rachel Hendrix, Jason Burkey, John Schneider.

This may not be the best film, but the story is one that needs to be told.  There are real children and adults out in the world today who are survivors of abortion, and they have the scars of both physical and emotional trauma to prove what they have endured.  In this film, Hannah (the young woman) seems to be an average, healthy girl, until she goes on the emotional roller coaster of a lifetime, searching for the answers to her birth story.  The ending was a little too cut-and-dried, considering the journey she goes on to get there, but the film is still heart-wrenching and wonderful.  It is worth a watch.
