Doctor Strange (2016) Rated PG-13

A former neurosurgeon goes on a journey to fix his hands after a car accident and discovers a world of mystical arts. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, Benjamin Bratt.

This is one of the better Marvel films I have seen. It has all the things we have come to love and expect about Marvel: special effects, a fascinating story, and a great cast.  The special effects reminded me of the movie Inception, which is brilliant. Also, Doctor Strange takes the time to develop the character’s backstory, enriching the film greatly.  Greater than the sum of its parts, which are all quite good, this Marvel film is definitely worth a watch.
