Get Out (2017) Rated R

A young African American man visits his white girlfriend’s family for the weekend, where all is not what it seems. Starring  Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Catherine Keener, Bradley Whitford.

This film uses the race card to create a horror film, which in my opinion is in bad taste. Without the issue of race, this film wouldn’t have had a leg to stand on, but with it, it only incites racial tension, instead of easing it. I was not at all impressed by this film, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it.  This film is a pass.
